Just world hypothesis

4/2/19

The idea that the world always tends towards justice, the expectation that something will happen because it’s the right thing to happen. This can also work in a reverse sense: many will say that other people must have caused their own problems, and that if they didn’t they’d have had a good life. This is easily rejected.

We’d all be happier living in a world where justice iS inherent and you could always be sure that things will work out the right way. Unfortunately the world is much more chaotic and random than that and sometimes shitty things happen.
