Learn about Fake News typology, how to spot fake news and of course fake news and Covid-19 Join us online at www.EdinburghSkeptics.co.uk / Webtalk Alex has worked as a journalism lecturer since 2011, delivering a range of modules in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He has taught: Radio News, TV News, Radio Bulletins, Social Media, Introduction to Broadcast Journalism (ML), Business Journalism and more. He also supervises BA and MA students working on their Major Projects and Dissertations. Currently, he is Programme Leader for BA Journalism at Edinburgh Napier. Alex has been a journalist for more that 30 years and although he has done reporting and writing for television, print and online, he is first and foremost a radio journalist, working in local, regional and national radio, including 15 years with BBC Radio - World Service and domestic channels.
