What’s On – Science Festival 2013

Edinburgh Skeptics Science Festival 2013If the past is a foreign country, then we are all emigrants into the future and our season of talks in the Science Festival give us the chance to take a look around our new home.

The first week looks at the body in the form of cancer, human reproduction and whether or not we can generate power from our own bodies.

In the second week we consider minds, human and artificial. And we end with Alison Craig’s talk about marine mammals because we really wanted to hear about cetaceans and the Dark Side.

Humanist Society ScotlandOur talks are free but we have regular costs and speakers’ expenses and so we ask for donations to cover these.

We are grateful to the Humanist Society Scotland for sponsoring these events.
