The first of our Skeptical Days Out is at the National Museum of Scotland.

Come at 2:30 to start the visit, though there’ll be skeptics munching packed lunches in the packed lunch area from about 1:30 onwards.

Skeptical Days Out are a chance to socialise with skeptics of all ages and see some of the most interesting places in Edinburgh without going to the pub or a cafe.

Not everyone can make it out in the evenings, and we’re the first Skeptical group in the country to have regular Skeptical Days Out at the weekends.

Edinburgh is full of interesting, low-cost and free places for children and adults to visit, both indoors and out, and it seems a waste not to see them.

We meet at a new venue on the last Sunday of every month, at 1:30 for food or 2:30 for the main event.

This is a new venture for 2012, and we’ve not chosen a programme for the year.  Instead, whoever comes on a Day Out one month can help choose the venue for the next.

See the Website and our Facebook page for the next month’s venue.

Children are welcome but not compulsory.
